Singer and entrepreneur Poonam Khubani unveiled her new album, ‘Nachle Ve’, at the Magna Lounge in Mumbai, in an event of Friday. Present alongside were CMD Magna Publishing, Mr. Nari Hira, and veteran music composer Anand Raj Anand, who has not only composed the tracks in the album but also produced them.
Poonam Khubani, who goes by her stage name of Poonam Kay, is a known name in the business world. Her tenure as the Vice President of TeleBrands International and President of International Edge earned her a spot among the top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs of New Jersey. However, the lady insists that she is first and foremost a musical artiste, and business came to her much later than her passion for singing. “I’ve always been a singer. I’ve been trained in classical music under Ahmed Hussain-Mohammed Hussain since childhood. It’s not a transition for me. My work is my work, but my passion has been there for years. It’s never easy to balance work and passion. Your heart and mind should be focused and you’ll manage fine. ”
